Canada Star Secondary School is committed to a policy of equality and welcomes all eligible students to apply regardless of race, sex, class, creed, or nationality. We give all students the same rights to education and our education policies, scholarships, and extracurricular programs are all free of prejudice. In order to help the school understand the needs of students all applicants are required to participate in interviews alongside their parents. This interview will also be used to assess academic and language skills. Admission requirements are based on learning ability, individual personality and interest in learning.
At Canada Star Secondary School we envision ourselves as educating future leaders. We expect our potential students to have a spirit of exploration, be energetic, caring interested in learning. We use standardized exams to help improve student placement and to improve their potential. Students who have a special talent or expertise should not hesitate to submit this as part of their application.
Once the application is complete, the admissions committee will assess whether the student has the ability to grow in the Canada Star Secondary School learning environment.
All applicants need to start with an interview. Students should make an appointment to meet the admissions officer. Overseas applicants should contact the school to submit an application fee of $200 and arrange a video interview. If the interview is successful, you will be asked to submit the application form. If the student is under 19 years of age, the application form must be completed by the parent or legal guardian.
